Once you've chosen a class, its time to start playing! After you
read the section below, I would read the other sections first before
going too far in the game. Below is a screen shot of the main screen,
with details on what each component means:
Mob Wars Main Menu screen shot:
Cash - The amount of money you have on your boss (not including in the bank).
Health - The number of hitpoints your Mobster has/over potential hitpoints at full health.
Energy - Energy you currently have. Energies is used to pull jobs.
Stamina - Stamina you currently have. Stamina is used to fight other mobsters.
Exp - Current experience points
Level - Your mobsters current level
Jobs - Jobs you can pull for experience and money, such as drug dealing, mugging, robberies.
Hitlist - Mobster who currently have a contract out on them. Don't mess with these until you get to a higher level!
City
- The land and properties you own. It also shows how much money you are
making hourly, and who much upkeep you have on your items.
Bank
- The bank allows you to launder your money, and protect it from other
mobsters. The cost to launder your money is high, currently at 10%.
Hospital - Heal your mobster after a fight. You must you laundered money from the bank, and you cannot heal if you have over 100 hp.
Godfather
- Ask the godfather for favors. He can heal you, give you money, or
give you hired guns to add to your mob. You must earn favor points by
either completing offers, or using spare change. (this is how the
developers make their money)
Fight - Fight other mobsters
Stockpile - Allows you to buy items, and shows how many of each items you have. Items can be to arm your mobster, or pull jobs.
My Mob
- These are the friends you currently have in your mob, and the hired
guns you have. It also allows you to invite/add friends to your mob.
Boss
- Shows your character attributes, and is used when you attain a new
level. You get three points to spread amongst your attributes. Attack
allows you to attack better, and get more money from rival mobsters.
Defense provides better protection, and helps protect your money
better. Energy, stamina, health are self explanatory. Note on stamina:
Most people don't need more than three stamina until they get higher
levels as it regenerates fast, so use your points wisely.
My Stats
- Shows your character sheet, as other people see it. It lists your
career stats includind jobs pulled, wins and losses in fights, ect. It
also has a speakeasy where you can leave messages for members of your
mob. Don't confuse My Stats with My Boss - they are different!
Status Bar
- (bottom of the screen) Shows how long until you regenerate a point of
health, stamina, or energy. Also, when people have attacked or join
your mob, a message will be displayed.
Made Men - The best of the best mobsters from Mob Wars. Will your name be on this list some day?
Insomniac
Insomniacs regenerate energy at a faster rate. This means you can pull
more jobs in a day, such as robbing banks and drug deals. Insomniac is
a great class for those who can play 4-5 times a day, when your energy
is restored. This class is fast way to level, at least at lower levels,
and also provides solid income.
Bulletproof
Bulletproof bosses regenerate stamina at an accelerated rate, allowing
you to fight other mobsters more often. I recommend taking this class
only if you plan on being online a lot, and playing longer sessions.
Like insomniacs, this can be a fast class to level, and also provide a
good source of income as you can steal money from other mobsters at
lower levels, and pull hits at higher levels. The drawback is you have
to be online a LOT to make this class work to its potential.
